Compared to the engine, the power supply can provide power, and the combination of the two is like a whole. However, there is also a structural aspect, including the heat dissipation part, which is only a rough definition and also requires the configuration of an outer cover.

The operation level of a lighting fixture also depends on the surrounding environment. Today, a friend brought me a fluorescent lamp and asked me to analyze its advantages and disadvantages. I looked at it and found that the lamp tube is very heavy and requires self molding. It also incurred a lot of cost in the past. The T10/1.2-meter power has 27W, but the brightness is not high, about 1200LM. I asked if the lamp bead is 3014, with two power sources and UL certification.

Although this lamp tube cost a lot, it was not done well. It was probably because we were too anxious at the time and did not put effort into market forecasting and testing. The power supply failed, causing a certain degree of economic loss and becoming a decoration.

If the power supply of the lamp is not done well, it will be the failure of the entire lamp. Poor contact of some power supplies during voltage supply can also cause damage to the lamp beads. At this time, surge voltage cannot be ignored, because the instantaneous high voltage can reach over kilovolts. We can use some highly sensitive convex wave absorbers (varistors) to measure it, and the fuse in front will burst, making it even more sensitive in the presence of inductive loads.

Some people say that the lifespan of electrolysis determines the lifespan of the power supply, but this statement lacks basis. Our previous television was an example, and using it for twenty years was not a problem. Generally, the proportion of electrolysis failures is very small, less than 1%. At that time, 2000 hours of electrolysis was already the best. Why did we use it for so many years? When we designed the power supply, we left some margin for the electrolysis capacity. Electrolysis gradually reduces the capacity, and it will only lose its capacity when the amine water inside dries up. Nowadays, electrolysis is tightly sealed, so the service life is very long. Moreover, we have used electrolysis with a longer service life. Nowadays, the quality of domestic electrolysis has also improved, and the service life has caught up with and exceeded foreign products
